The first point you're making is exactly what I'm saying.
"Lynch the slankers because they're slanking" is a lazy line of thinking that literally just lumps every one of the players that slanks into a category together where we lynch them always, and completely takes away the village reading those players. It's like a policy lynch at that point.
However "Lynch XXXX because he slanks as a wolf" is a completely different statement which actually relies on us analyzing the slot and coming to a logical conclusion as to what their alignment is. You specifically said "Slankers can die with the wolves." Which is a statement I disagree with. Saying I'm wrong isn't going to change my opinion on that and frankly I believe it's slightly asinine to policy lynch slankers for slanking.
Secondly, lynching slankers and pressuring slankers are two different things. Should a person be questioned for slanking? Yes, because it makes it easier for us as the village to analyze his alignment. Should a person be immediately lynched for slanking? No, because that's asinine and will lynch just as many villagers as wolves.
To be honest I'm not sure I like the direction you're taking here baudib
