i would actually argue that mgmt is not trite, despite being slightly popular.

i thikn i got hammered for the other 2 categories of rating since you didn't like the artist

I really like the tempo and rhythm of this song, and how it just starts of cold at it's full sound. I don't even know if the lyrics make sense or what the hell they are about, but that doesn't even matter; the vocals fit really nicely. Good stuff

So, I think this band is pretty decent, but this song doesn't do a ton for me. I mean I don't hate it or anything, but it's nothing special either.

You said this could easily be a 60's song, but I disagree. I think there are parts that could be from the 60's, but by and large this has a pretty modern feel to it.
