Round 1, Pick 1: The Internet
The internet can do magnificent things. It can bring far away people closer together, give people instant access to almost everything at the touch of a button. But if things come too easily then the satisfaction of figuring something out is removed.
Take away the internet and you turn guys like this:
into guys like this:
The average person will be more productive, more capable and more useful to their community and society as a whole. Sedentary lifestyles will turn into active, healthy ones and quality of life will go up.
Everything I've said so far assumes that the internet is a positive thing, albeit a time suck. But there are bad things on the internet too...
Insomnia, infidelity and moral corruption have all increased with the popularisation of the internet. So many people will cheat using dating sites and pirate a movie that would never dream of doing so if they couldn't use tinder and TPB to help them do it from the comfort of their own home.
The family unit has also been weakened by the internet. Everyone Snapchatting instead of chatting and Facebooking instead of speaking face to face.
Excessive amounts of porn readily available on the internet ruins young relationships. In the 60s a blowjob would have blown some 16 year old's mind (and his job) but now 12 year olds can see girls with 2 dicks in their ass 24/7.
Then there's the fact that everything that gets on the internet is permanently there for all to see. Think how much **** you got away with in your younger days and realise how ****ed you'd be if it was available for all employers, family members and prospective love interests to see. That drunken night out where you threw up on a girl as you kissed her and then pissed yourself wouldn't be so easy to sweep under the carpet nowadays. Young people have actually killed themselves because of things like this.
Then there's the really bad stuff. Fraud, child porn, grooming, cyber bullying, invasion of privacy, black market trading, terrorism and radicalisation.
Team donkey biscuits believe that the bad outweighs the good and the world would be a better place without the internet. Put down the tablet and pick up a book instead!

i think the world would be a better place without the internet. but the internet brings sooo much good with the bad... i mean the gifs alone!
