It won't change anyone's first selections but I feel with what happened he deserves to have his waivers processed correctly considering the time he put to the original list.

Not saying this was done on purpose and doesn't really matter as long as there are byes but got me thinking a bit.

I think we should probably outlaw this eventually i.e. can't drop a defense you picked up the same week. What's stopping me from just picking up all defenses and dropping them to lock them if my opponent needs a defense? Obviously one could argue it's his fault for only carrying one etc. but I think chain add/dropping defenses is fairly shady.

This came up in the other league as well. It has always been the case that all players were locked at the start of the first game. We're going to vote in the offseason to change it, it's much more of an issue now that there are Thursday games every week.
