Re: Dynasty Fantasy Football League 2

With 14 teams thats a maximum of 56 starting WR's (if all teams use WR in flex).

The top 60 WR's last year were 8+ ppg and 120+ for the year which is plenty deep enough to support 14 teams at this set up.

If we go to 14 teams Bingo and I were discussing 23 Roster spots + 1-2 Taxi(developmental) +1-2 Injured reserve.

Scoring Change:

In the OP it says 1 point every 30 passing yards.

Changing that to 1 point every 25 passing yards.

Honestly I feel like the rules I use currently hasve been tried and tested for years, and is the best ruleset.

Will play under other rulesets, though.

Re: Dynasty Fantasy Football League 2

Alright we need to discuss payments. Everyone in the league has a vote.

A) I escrow via FTP and PSTars. I've been on 2p2 for 4 years now made many bets and transactions w/o a single complaint. Been in POG for 1+ years and am not going anywhere. Been on a stake right through 2p2 for last 3 months.

B) We use the the leaguesafe.com https://www.leaguesafe.com/setupleague/setup.aspx
Easy to set up. Only takes echecks(routing number + bank account number) and 10$ late fee which could be a problem when starting this up.

C) Some other reputable owner escrows.

Also we need to decide about whether we want to put a down payment on next year or not(I kinda do) so that way everyone is more inclined to come back and if they do leave the new owner gets a discount.

I was thinking everyone pays $125-$150 originally and than just $100 every year after that.

I thikn paying the next year up front is a good idea, however I am a poor man, and that might put some strain on my budget. The 125-150 is fine, but I dont think I can drop 250 at the moment.

I trust you OTi, and I would rather keep the money inside of us so that we dont have to pay fees, etc. Keep the cost as low as possible.

Re: Dynasty Fantasy Football League 2

it would only be 125-150 max this year

100$ would be paid next year before rookie draft.

Edit: and leaguesafe.com is free as long as you don't pay late.

It's not that i don't trust OTI or anyone else but leaguesafe seems like the best option. It's organized, safe, and probably easier if we'e going to have people pay for half the next season or whatever. It is a bit inconvenient that you have to use echecks but it's not that difficult to set up

Re: Dynasty Fantasy Football League 2

Definitely would want to have people pay 1.5 times the entry. That way there's a cost to drop out, and if people feel like they can quit whenever this league could just fall apart. What do we do if an owner does quit? Through the 50 bucks into next year's prize pool? What about replacement owners? No one will want to pick up a team that sucks, and it would also be unfair for someone to pick up a dominant team.

Re: Dynasty Fantasy Football League 2

Finding an owner to replace someone who dropped out isn't that difficult. We replaced JG in the other league without a problem. If we do make it 150 or 125, we can offer a discount using the extra 25 or 50 if we need to
