I call this one Easy PEEHS-y because I'm making the questions achievable. I'm confident that everyone will know at least one answer to each question. The only incorrects will come from those who are ACE hunting.

1. Name a country that has at least one star on it's national flag

So we're going to start of with a bit of controversy perhaps.

When in the sky a star is an astronomical object with certain properties but on a flag a star is a shape.

If the shape is officially described as sun and not star then it doesn't count even though I'm well aware that the sun is a star.

This exact thing came up once before regarding the sun being a star, except the mod made the opposite ruling.

I guess I think of that thing on the flag as a star shape as well as a sun.

Nepal should be correct imo. The bottom thing is supposed to be the sun.

xander, I get your logic, but wouldn't it apply to Malaysia (even though it's described as a star) just as much as Nepal?

i sort of feel like either both should be in or both should be out, since they're very similar shapes

that said, I respect a ruling that is simply "if it's described as a star, yes; if not, no"

I think Nepal is listed at the very bottom of the (stars) section

It says "two stars: one 16-pointed, one 12-pointed)"

Because it's actually described as a star here (on Wikipedia which I was using as a source) I'm going to mark it correct.
I was prepared to ignore all arguments that "The sun is a star" though

*pushes glasses up* having lived for three months in Bologna, I now find spaghetti bolognese to be tilting because bolognese sauce (ragu) is NOT SUPPOSED to be used with spaghetti -- it's a thick sauce, and thick sauces go with thicker noodles like tagliatelle

otherwise you just end up with a bunch of ground beef and tomato left behind on your plate
