Well, looking at this page:
http://www.imdb.com/help/search?doma...&ref_=hlp_sr_4 it seems as if the tag should say "Language: English, Spanish" if that was the case (and not Italian - I don't recall people actually speaking Italian in the "English"-language version of the film - if there were Italian would have been added to the list). (There are a few lines in Spanish, right? Or am I imagining that?)

Overview
- The IMDb languages section records the languages spoken in titles in the database.
- We will list any language spoken. If necessary, please use a qualifying attribute such as (a few words), (a few lines), (song), etc.
B. Key Submission Rules
- If more than one language was spoken please enter them in order of frequency such that the main language is entered first.
- Silent Movies should be listed with a language of None and an order number of 1 ('silent' should also be added to the sound mix section). If onscreen text appears in the original version of the title, add the language that the onscreen text appears in with an order number of 2 including an attribute explaining in what form the text takes - (intertitles), for example.
- Please note that this refers to the original release; we do not record dubbing languages for foreign releases in this list, or DVD subtitle options.
(my emphasis in the last list item)
The actual IMDB page for TGTBATU has
Quote:
Il buono, il brutto, il cattivo (original title)
as its subtitle (my emphasis)
So it seems pretty clear from that that what has been drafted is the "original" Italian language version of TGTBATU.
