Yeah sure. I'd probably recommend a few practice games beforehand, but it really won't affect the tournament adversely if you're completely new.

FWIW greening early, especially buying estates early is awful. You probably outplayed me the second game going green earlier than I did. Was so horribly tilted the 3rd game when on the crucial turn I draw 3 merchant ships with no support.

Yeah my plan was to be able to buy them and then be able to trash them later for better stuff. I didn't have anything else to do as $2 is a pretty random number to have. You kicked my ass that first game.

You might of beat my drunk ass 2 of out 3 games (well done). But really, you should never buy estates until late late in the game

What will the rules be? Chuckles and I did a game yesterday with veto power, and I liked it much more than just getting dealt random.

Personally, I like veto and point counter on, but that can be discussed/voted on by the participants before we officially begin.
