He's dressed pretty casually. A sweater and jeans. The only thing in his pockets is the door key to his room. The only form of injury and what appears to be the obvious cause of death is the bullet that entered through the back of his head, causing large amounts of bleeding. The bullet appears to have been fired from a handgun of some description.

(so, we can make as many requests per day as we want, but can only ask other guests one question per day?)
There is only one request/question per day. You decide whether you want me to investigate or ask someone a question. Please confirm whether you still want to go ahead with this request.

Is this a request, if so I need a bolded word at the top. Just to make sure I don't accidentally answer something that was intended as a general question for other detectives.

No I mean "I can also ask the staff; the cook, the bartender, the front of house, and the waitress" don't know what the front of the house refers to, it isn't a game question.

"Yeah for sure, most of our guests come in here at night at some point or another, little else to do out here. Let's see.... A group of five were up near the bar, all young people. They stayed til closing time. One of the Korean blokes, the Swedish girls, the Aussie and that businessman character. Actually now that I think about it the Korean bloke's brother was here too, early, didn't look in great shape. He left real early though.

Who else? Well that librarian woman was here, lovely lady. She left her War and Peace book behind, it's still back here if you want a look. And the loud bloke, Hank I think his name was. He left not long after the quiet woman though. Yeah, I think that's it."

Haha I get it now, sorry.

Front of house is the receptionist who takes bookings and greets guests upon arrival.

This sort of general question isn't possible for me to answer. I'm just your assistant.

If you would like I could pose this question to anybody, and they can answer it based on their knowledge and motivations.

Question (or other bolded word)

Ask Guest B what they dreamed of last night?

Actual guesses will be pmed to me. This allows people to lie in thread on suspects if they want to go for individual glory. I'll probably reveal the amount of people on each suspect at night, without revealing who was on who.
I'm not understanding this part. So, the questions asked/answered in thread have valid answers? Do I now have a question I can ask you via PM? If someone wants to be misleading then they just don't ask a question in thread then lie about what answer they received?

FYI, I'm looking at this as a collaboration, not a competition, so any info I put into the thread will be truth.

Guesses = Guess at top suspect.

After the questioning stage, each person submits to me a guess at who they think the killer is. I then reveal someone (a suspect) as an innocent. If your guess at the killer is the innocent I reveal then you lose the game.

It's absolutely fine to look at this as a collaboration, and also fine to look at it as a competition. There is no real point to the competition other than pride/bragging rights. Everyone can win together and everyone can lose.

Just to clarify: you want to know who booked, what room types and the length of stay for each room? None of the hotel bills have been finalised today due to the incident.

Actually - I am interested in knowing all of the charges made to the rooms and the time they were made on the night of the death. e.g. room service, phone calls, requests for wake up calls.

As opposed to when people arrived at the hotel.

Surely there is an entry book for the charges made to a room kept in good order.

Oh, we're a pretty small outfit here actually. There wasn't any room service last night, of course we do shut down at 11:30pm. I mean, I have an emergency number which connects out to the employee's lodge, but nobody called it. No wake up calls either, most like to sleep in out here, and those that don't are usually out of bed at 6 anyway.

The only phonecall we received at all last night was from Hank Jordan. I believe it was around 10:30, asking about cable television or some sorts.

We only had a couple of people actually check in yesterday. Most come down on the Friday at least. Who? Oh one sec... Sandy Striker and Clyde Snow. That's all the information I have really...
