This was a big miss for me since I'm quite possibly one of the most politically unaware people in the world. I don't follow politics in my own country, let alone other people's countries. Also a Forrest Gump parody is far from original. I can guess a bunch of stuff that's being referenced and could find out with a little effort I'm sure, but I don't really care to. I'm sure it's very funny if you're into politics but just not for me.

Topical. I didn't find this funny. He just brings up awkward things in front of people so that people have the reaction "OMG, I can't believe he just said that to him!" The actual jokes assume the audience have low IQs too. "I can't believe he said you're a 36 year old bald headed ***. You're 35." is where the predictable joke should have finished but instead he goes on to reiterate "You're not 36". It's just cringy and not very funny imo. The press conference is an iota better than the other part, but that wasn't difficult to achieve.
I'm not well versed in Pee-Wee Herman and this doesn't really make me want to in a hurry if I'm being honest. Elaborate and lengthy set-up for a mediocre pay off. If I had to guess I'd say Pee-Wee's shtick is being dumb, annoying, childish and repeating himself a lot. How'd I do?
Dean Martin & Foster Brooks - The Bar/Brain Surgeon

I still don't think that Foster Brooks is funny but the setting of a sketch is a much more appropriate place for this character than at a roast. Perhaps if you know and love him then a roast can be fine, but as an introduction to him I'm sure you can understand why he was such a miss. This has a couple of decent lines but Dean Martin corpsing through this really takes away a lot of the humour. "Would you mind asking around" and "Virginia Mayo" were ok I guess, but the final payoff was weak. I've upgraded Foster Brooks character slightly in my estimations, but he's still got a way to go before I call him funny.
I'll take 4th quite happily, but I just realized who I should have nominated instead. I was rushing my entry and was having trouble coming up with anything.

I've seen a few clips of this before and have always thought "meh". I'm not a huge candid camera/prank call fan in general. I think it's cheap laughs in general. This had a few nice flourishes with the fanfare and the fact that the money changes from £8.27 to £8.23 (I bet he was hoping that it would get picked up on, but no such luck) but other than that it's just your typical run of the mill prank call. To conclude: One of the better things of it's type, but not my type of thing.
I like his stilted delivery. I like his opener about a dog driving the train and why he'd get on. The mouse thing was a step down in quality. This pattern seems to continue throughout the clip. One joke lands for every one that misses. Using up pencils: good. Wii Tennis avatar: miss etc. But what you can say is that it's original and that this guy has potential. He's trying a bunch of stuff and hopefully he'll refine his character and act and become successful.
I like Alan Partridge a lot. I don't think that this is one of his stronger clips but it's still funny. It's the funniest thing in a weak round of submissions. There's some clever word play but it's all a bit random. Gotta love a bit of Chris Morris even if he's playing the straight man. 20 foot chickens being scared because they don't know why they are so big is probably the funniest line.
Lisa Lampanelli is kind of a one trick pony. She says stuff that's insulting. It's not especially witty or funny even, just insulting. She calls someone a *** or a whore to their face and everybody laughs. When I was 18 I thought she was pretty funny on the Comedy Central roasts when there was a little more meaning behind her insults but this just comes off as weak sauce.
She's funnyish I guess, but it's not the best routine. It's all a bit absurd and ridiculous and the final punchline is very predictable. That being said she has decent stage presence and I enjoyed it a LOT more than the clips ranked lower than it.
It's a good gimmick, but a gimmick it is nonetheless. When I saw that it was called "Ventriloquist..." I thought that it would be awful, but I like the way it's been done. It's clever and funny, but it's not going to stand the test of time. Now that I've seen it once I don't think that any variation on this is going to have anywhere near the same impact. Also I've seen Nina on QI and thought she was very unfunny. But since it was the first time I've seen such a thing then I award it e points.
I like Tig a lot and I've heard a bunch from her from the ComedyBangBang podcast. I think the diarrhea bit was very funny and the breasts overhearing and plotting to kill her part was the definite highlight. She's a funny person and this was a great few minutes of comedy. Me like.
Excellent clip. I thought that every joke was a big hit. The dry delivery is really fitting and she's got great timing. Opening build-a-bear joke was quite possibly the highlight but every joke was great and original. She seems young and probably doesn't have a lot of material out there, but she's one to watch and proof that women can be as funny as men. Deserving winner.
