I didn't think this was funny at all. Didn't even smirk once. Sorry. Not my sort of thing. Jon Daly doing Bill Cosby, now that's funny! Consecutive reveals!!
I've seen SNL Jeopardy and I think it's hilarious. I was really looking forward to this. Maybe it's because I'm not American or Canadian, maybe it's because I'm white, maybe it's because I've heard of but don't know anything about Drake, but I didn't find this funny. Parody only works when you get what's being parodied and it wasn't parodying anything I knew. Sorry, but not my thing.

eh. This has been done before. This has been done better and I wasn't the biggest fan of it back then even. I like me some Victor Borge and Les Dawson but apart from that I find this sort of thing not very funny. Other people rave about Rowan Atkinson doing this, but I didn't think that was funny and this is like that sketch's little brother.
This was pretty good. Not exceptional by any means, but better than the clip in 3rd place imo. Why is this 4th then? I had to downgrade it because the guy swears a couple of times. Talented comedian, a little eccentric and a decent little piece about the gas man that's original, but dem cuss words mean I can't show it to my gran! Also she doesn't like stand up comedy and has been dead for more than 40 years (seriously)
This 4 and a half minutes should be 1 minute tops. He just goes on and on about the same thing. It's not one of those things that gets funnier the more you hear it. It peaks at about the 1 minute mark and then he should move on.
I thought that Sinbad had a pretty bad reputation as a comic but I'd never heard anything he'd done before this. It was pretty funny. I found myself smirking a bunch throughout. He's got the talent to make you agree with what he's saying even if you've never been in the situation. I don't really find myself in McDonald's drive thrus much but he paints a pretty good picture. Good job Sinbad and good job Chachi
I listened to this one first and did not think I'd put it in 1st place on principle. I'd listed Mitch Hedberg as one of my sample entries and this is not his best work. But he was not on the "do not submit" list and he was funnier than any other entry by a wide margin. I love Mitch Hedberg and he's a sort of deserving winner in this subpar round. I guess everyone knows a lot more filthy comedy than clean comedy. That's what I'm hoping anyways...
If you are a fan of clean comedy and haven't seen any Sinbad before, I highly recommend his stand up specials. Especially the older ones. He is far and away my all time favorite clean comic
getting the feeling that xander isn't big on physical comedy, which is hurting me here, a lot of what I love about both Max and Ivan and Mr Swallow (the guy I just posted) is the physical aspect to their humour going alongside the actual jokes

hah, funny you say this, the thing I really wanted to submit for this round was this, but it fell afoul of the time limit - I think it's one of the greatest stand-up sketches I've seen:
it's the 'messenger with indifferent news' bit that just ****ing kills me every time
Was this ever relevant? Perhaps, the video is 10 years old. Was this ever funny? I don't think so. Musically it's not very good and comedically it's pretty weak. Yeah it's filthy and so it fits the category but it's low hanging fruit and not very well executed either.
I've really been looking forward the walrus reveals (probably because it's my first), and yay, number 7 wasn't mine. Although, I thought I was in with some fairly low hanging fruit.
Gilbert Gottfried is great but the aristocrats joke isn't. Once you've heard it once, you've heard it. I know that people push it further and further but you get to the point where you're numb to it. It's not shocking, it's not new and it's not funny. Also what's with the editing of that video? Really off-putting. It also feels really phoned in by Gilbert. All I can say is, I hope he got paid well for it.
I thought this was pretty funny. Some good jokes, good stage presence and definitely fulfills the filthy criterion. You could see some of the punchlines coming, but they were delivered well and they probably weren't as predictable at the time of filming. Highlight is the wrong pills joke that gives the video its title.
Steve Hughes is talented and this is a well crafted piece of comedy but it doesn't come across as genuine, it just comes across as a bit. I've found that to be true about other parts of his stand up too. The "I was offended" bit falls into this category too. I know it shouldn't take away from the humour, but it kinda does for me. I'm sure that this is a me problem and like I said before I can tell he's a talented guy but probably just not for me.
