A fellow Australian, I see. Feels a bit by the numbers, like a computer wrote it. From what I understand he is actually playing the track live on that gadget, that is pretty impressive and elevates it to the top of this boredom tripleplay. But it doesn't do a lot for me.
Maybe stick to songs you're not over the moon about?

Bloobird with That Summer, At Home, I Had Become The Invisible Boy by The Twilight Sad
Don't know what to say about this. I never really liked or hated it. It's definitely a song. Because it has personality I could see really liking this and I have a hunch it would be on the podium if Nick were running this one. Indifference feels like a weird reaction to a track like this, but that's my reaction.
I enjoyed this. Very musical, quite a lot of depth. It's a questionable category fit and to really love it I'd prefer it had a bit more light and shade. So it falls a bit short of podium material.
Fun track. I quite like mainstream dance that has some nice vocal lines. Calvin Harris, that kind of thing. Not going to win any awards for intellectual interest, but I enjoy it and if nothing else, it does make me want to crank it up
Yet to reveal: Jabonator, DonkDonkDonkDonk and Mankey Banana.

Jabonator with Blackest Eyes by Porcupine Tree
These guys again. This time around there's just enough griminess to keep things interesting. I really like the guitar sound on the main riff. Much better category fit. I still wouldn't say I love it, but this category has been like that.

DonkDonkDonkDonk with Reconfiguration by Other Lives
This was a grower. It's a good category fit because I didn't start really liking it until I cranked it way up. It's got a complex sound, a lot of texture. Again, it's benefiting from there not being that much I liked this category.

I super love this track and am fully prepared to be laughed at by people for not already knowing it, since I imagine fans of this band know it like the back of their hand.
Spoiler:
Monkey Banana with Sunrise by New Order
I haven't listened to much new wave/post punk since most of it tends to be either irritatingly synth-poppy (Blue Monday for eg) or else a bit on the mopey side. This track though, while being immediately appealing, is also brimming with dark menace and energy. It sounds remarkably like a version of The Cure headed up by Robert Smith's psycho brother who will ****ing glass you if you look at him the wrong way in the pub. It's physically impossible not to listen to this at top volume. Awesome.
The next three songs all bored me for one reason or another and could really have been ranked in any order.

tappokone with Open Your Heart by The Men
When I warned against submitting punk in the signup thread, this is pretty much what I was talking about. It's not a style that interests me at all. Rolling the dice on classical last round worked out well, but this just isn't my thing at all.
