This is as diplomatic as possible: People questioning the veracity of statements made about a player's real life are not harassing or targeting or abusing or in any way doing anything wrong to the player who made the statement re: their real life.

Players who make statements about their real life - including their real life emotional state - who expect those statements to be off limits for investigation are not being reasonable.

Players who can be relied upon to become upset, thereby diminishing their effectiveness in game threads, if they are tested re: the veracity of their statements re: real life, should expect to be tested in that fashion because other players have a number of motivations for wanting to diminish the effectiveness of a potential opponent.

Not really. I'd challenge your standards of what "helping my team enough" really means given variance and everything, and I'd put forth whatever amount of effort I could contribute based on whatever is going on at work/other commitments/mood/whatever, just like I always do.

Werewolf isn't a job. There's no reason we should make it one.

I agree with and endorse this post

if you post in a werewolf game, you have to expect people will take your post to be part of the game, and since the game involves figuring out who is lying, you must expect that people may think you may be lying about anything you post

No one should take suspicion in a werewolf game personally, when it's related to what you post

I have no problem with Hoya's first and second paragraphs, except to the extent that investigations into real-life stuff are, to a large extent, fundamentally UNFALSIFIABLE, so poking and prodding about it past a certain point is just being a dick. In my opinion.

I have a general philosophical disagreement with the third paragraph which comes from realizing that most people in the thread are villagers and treating them as such, not as potential opponents to be targeted and diminished.
