I made the first set as broad as possible. The next set will be geographic (maybe), so I'm sure there will be more complaints about that

After that I will get more to narrower traditional categories (probably).

I have very eclectic musical tastes, so any genre can beat any genre depending on the songs and how I am feeling at the time I am judging them. (for instance, that sia song I didn't particularly like when you submitted but did a year later when someone else has, I have not made it through again after adding it to a play list Good timing for Leo or whoever)

The only one in your group without mostly rand for the vetoes was you, who had a separate list for each opponent

I like all genres. Slow is harder to click with me sort of, but I like plenty of slow stuff. Genres in my current play lists to at least some extent:
Various flavors of rock - probably more indie and alternative right now, but really everything. Maybe no metal, depending on how it's defined.
Various flavors of pop
Various flavors of jazz
Various flavors of fusion / house / etc
Some classical
Some country
Some world
Big band
Ska
Punk
Fair amount of hip hop
Maybe even some folk, but don't tell nick that.
Funk
Soul
Every time I think I'm done with the list I remember more genres I have play listed...


I mean I really like a lot of types of music, though individual songs are hit or miss.

There are some styles I don't like. For instance I have never heard an eminem song I liked, his vocal style just grates on me. Otoh I can't think of a tribe called quest song I don't like.

Yes. Top 2 from each group advance to the single elimination bracket.

Round of 8 will be best of 3 categories, RO4 will be best of 5, final match up BO7. For the last two rounds, I'll let you send in 1+ songs at a time.

Sorry, busy real life ****. I will try to get everything caught up tonight, but I will definitely process everything processable by the end of the weekend. Cheer up though, I think falcon reversed the finish order of the songs in his walrus so you got second there!
