I'm willing to temporarily clear VCD based on Wiild's analysis. But more importantly, wiilld goes to the near the top of my villa list for his analysis, I can't see a wolf picking up on something like that EVER.

Digger, where do you get the idea that the mindblock could stop a peek?

Serious question, you've been following digger closely, what do you make of his tone/content shifts throughout the game? It sort of feels like two-three different people have been posting at various times, which is probably way paranoid and a little silly too, but that's what it feels like anyway.

When daybreaks I hope to put together it in a coherent whole.
It has manifold impications - and might through inference build a decent working lynch list.
Currently the thoery goes... there were events that precipitated the mindblock.
The mindblock was done for a reason which could be a few - one is to avoid a wolf being peek another is to stop a clear villa being heralded.
The theory is either those that werent posting around the thing were monitoring a development they did not like (less likely because that group includes those that were absent for IRL)
Or more likely those that we know were in the thread acted in either a preemptive fashion to stop a peek.
VR notes that blocks supercede peeks in an event horizon.
So I want to narrow down to those that were in thread as close to prior and post the mindblock and work out their actions against the backdrop of the Mind block.
|
If you're going to look into something that means you end up not interacting with anyone or posting anything actually useful at least know what you're looking into. Mindblock is a spell that stops one person ever being chosen by a companion. It has absolutely nothing to do with peeks or role blocking. The whole premise behind what you're doing is completely flawed so please drop it and interact with people instead.

I will PM VR over night with some of the relevant game mechanic questions to double check that my thoery is correct.

These posts were back to back, ~80 mins apart. I guess I kind of understand, karak was the 2nd leading wagon at the time with 3 votes to trebek's 4.
But then today:

that said ive done 1 read of d2 so far and i'd like to get another one in before i sign off and leave a vote.
initial thoughts:
...
trebek - wolf lean for the obvious reasons
...
so as i get ready to sign off for the day, im evaluating digger vs. trebek for my vote. need to reread all of digger.

ill vote for:
trebek
digger is also a good vote, but i feel more confident about trebek
|
wtf, how did trebek go from "I think he's a village idiot and am only voting him out of self-preservation" to "obv wolf" when he posted nothing in between?

Rene called me out earlier for not telling the village that this is his villa game, which it is, (I normally would link you but I'm too lazy this game), so he said, I'm basically wolfy for doing so.
Which I agree with him. However I explained to him why I'm not sticking up for him. Last game, I chose to stick up for Rene very hard even though he was acting like a spazz monkey. The reason was because I wanted him to spew so I can look for clues as to his wolf mates. I even said that, I will link you tomorrow.
So because I stuck up for him last game when he was a wolf, I didn't want the village to equate that me sticking up for him equals him being a wolf again, so I thought I would be more beneficial to not say anything and let his own game be judged by others even though I feel Rene is one of the better people I have a read on.
