Peehs, that is.

I realized that I haven't started an October game yet, so here we go.

For those who are new to the POG scene, a peehs is just like a sheep, except you want to give the least popular correct response. You score 1 point for your response, and 1 more point for each other person who gives the same response. The winner is the player with the lowest total score. There shouldn't be any incorrect responses for this game (see below), but, for the record, an incorrect response will score 1.5 times the score of the sheep answer.

What makes this one different? For each category, there are exactly three (3) correct responses. Maybe this will go down in flames, but I don't care, I'm weird.

I will be revealing Wednesday, October 24. Time TBD.

Also, I think JM did something like this about a year ago. I remember it being a good time, so I applaud this idea. (I think he called it levels peehs.)

I'd like to point out that a secondary color isn't so clear since you could be using a variety of color systems. I'm assuming the common perception of secondary colors being orange, green and purple. Correct?

In the subtractive system it is red, blue, and green. In the additive system it is cyan, magenta, and yellow. The primary colors in both of those systems are the secondary in the other. This creates a nice balance.

The way it is taught in grade school art class is red, yellow, and blue as the primaries and orange, green, and purple as the secondaries. This is a less accurate simplified system. You can't really make magenta using these primaries. You can, however, make red out of magenta paint and yellow paint. Red, yellow, and blue give a good spectrum, but magenta, yellow, and cyan are better.

Maybe people already know this, but from my experience, it isn't common knowledge and thought I'd share it.

Yeah, I thought about the additive/subtractive colour business. I figured people would go for the standard colour wheel. I should have just listed orange, green, purple, but I was trying to avoid lists. Good points.

Sure. Sorry for the confusion. My good friend Rand will look after you. I thought people would go for what they learned in school. Am I so old now, that schools are covering additive and subtractive colour schemes?
