Many elements will be the same as a vanilla game:

What makes this a mishmash?

  • Your role PM will contain your affiliation and your randed character. You will see many stats. See post #3 for information on all of these stats.

  • Every day, from the moment IT IS DAY is announced until the moment IT IS NIGHT is announced is a whole ITA period. You may bold and red another player's name (adding any flavor you like) to attack them. If done correctly and no illegal action performed, the Mod will process it and return one of two things: "MISS" or "HIT, [player] takes x damage". Your stats will tell you everything you need to know about your ITA stats. See below

Everything you need to know about your stats:

Races

Human: Humans are a diverse and vastly different race. As such they do not have any racial benefits or penalties.

Elf: Elves are graceful but frail. An elf's grace makes her naturally better at stealth and archery. They receive +1 to dex and -1 to con.

Halfling: Halflings are naturally cunning and outgoing creatures, but they are small and therefore not as strong as other humanoids. They receive +1 to cha and -1 to str.

Dwarf: Dwarves are stout and tough but tend to be flat-footed. They receive +1 to con and -1 to dex.

Tiefling: Tieflings are subtle, cunning and very conniving, but they tend to avoid verbal confrontations and are very awkward in public. They receive +1 to int and -1 to cha.

Half-Orc: Half-Orc's are strong and make great warriors, but they are generally less intelligent than other races. They receive +1 to str and -1 to int.

Classes

Warrior: Warriors are brutal and fierce fighters, preferring heavy melee weapons like swords, maces and axes. Due to the unreliable nature of a wound from a blade, they have a wide range of damage, dealing 1-12 + Str damage to their targets. Warriors start with 20+con HP.

Ranger: Rangers are more agile and careful warriors, preferring to fight from a distance with bows, crossbows and throwing knives. A well placed arrow can be much less unreliable than a random blade, Rangers will deal 4-10 + dex damage to their targets. Rangers start with 16+con HP.

Mage: Mages are masters of magic and the arcane, casting powerful spells to destroy their foes. There is no protection from a tremendous fireball or chilling ice blast, so Mages will deal 7-8 + int damage to their targets. Mages start with 12+con HP.


Stats



Strength (Str): Strength is a measure of how strong your character is, and is directly related to your effectiveness with melee weapons. Your strength bonus will contribute to your damage and chance to hit for Warriors. Furthermore, the stronger your character is, the better you are at shrugging off damage. Every point of strength you have allows you to reduce the same amount of damage from every hit.

Dexterity (Dex): Dexterity is a measure of how agile your character is, and is directly related to your effectiveness with ranged weapons. Your dexterity bonus will contribute to your damage and chance to hit for Rangers. Furthermore, the more agile your character is, the better you are at dodging attacks. Your dexterity bonus increase your Armor Class if wearing light or medium armor.

Intelligence (Int): Intelligent is a measure of how smart your character is, and is directly related to your effectiveness with magic attacks. Your intelligence bonus will contribute to your damage and chance to hit for Mages. Furthermore, every point of Intelligence will allow you the same in healing regeneration per night.

Constitution (Con): Constitution is a measure of how durable your character is, and is directly related to your health in combat. Every point of constitution will increase your base HP

Wisdom (Wis): Wisdom is a measure of how cunning your character is, and is directly related to how much knowledge you gain by peeking opponents. If you are the seer and have a higher wisdom score than your target, you will learn all of your opponents stats (i.e exactly what that player would have PM'd the mod before the game)

Charisma (Cha): Charisma is a measure of how likeable and outgoing you are, and is directly related to how often you are lynched. If you are tied for a lynching at EOD, you will die if you have the lowest charisma score. The lynch is only randed if the modifiers are the same

Combat Stats


Damage: How much damage you deal upon a successful hit. See Classes section to see how much damage each class deals

Hit Points (HP): How much damage you can take before you die. When you reach 0 HP, you are unconscious. You cannot attack, but you can still vote and post ITT. When you reach < 0 HP, you are dead. See Classes section for how many HP each class has.

Attack Bonus: This is a measure of your natural talent with your chosen weapon. This modifier is applied to both your damage and attack rolls.

Armor Class (AC): This determines how hard it is to land a damaging blow to you. To hit an opponent, your attack roll must meet or exceed your target's AC.

Attacks per Day (Atk/day): This is how many unique attacks you have per day/ITA period.

Heal/Day: This is the amount of HP you will naturally regain per night. Your HP cannot be increased to higher than its starting value.

Damage Reduction (Dmg Red): This is the amount of damage you will completely ignore if a hit is successful on you.

Note about Role PMs:

  • Your race and class are NOT indicative of your affiliation. It is all Rand.
  • Claiming any stat is allowed, but not always wise
  • Don't quote/talk about your PMs directly
  • Your Role PM contains ONLY the stats that you need to know to affect your decisions. See the below example

Final Notes
  • This is the first time I've ran something like this. If the mechanics don't work, or it ends up ending prematurely or not being balanced, I apologize
  • I will try and process attacks as quickly as possible. If you see one that hasn't been processed in ~10 mins, feel free to skype me (Stuck1nARutt)
  • Lynches and NKs are AUTOMATIC KILLS
  • Day will begin at 12pm ET

FAQ:

Q: Does the Seer have a n0 peek?
A: Yes, just as a regular turbo, the seer has a random n0 village peek

Q: What happens if someone makes an attack while waiting for an attack on them to resolve?
A: Both attacks will be processed chronologically, but if attacker 2 dies, his attack will not count.

Q: Can I attack the same person more than once or in succession before they are resolved?
A: Yes, but if attack #1 kills your target, subsequent attacks will be void

This is a 9er, which means that the seer is a very powerful role indeed. What this means in practice is that we shouldn't wagon anyone who has been peeked at least twice. It's just helpful to the wolves. If the seer has two live peeks on d2, we have great win equity.
