Oh and I don't know, I kind of default to live acoustic **** over a studio recording, especially if I'm submitting to a potato and lampshade aficionado. I suppose I should add some nuance to that line of thinking.

ok let's make this quick, Nick's song is kinda meh. it's ok, i'd probably tap my foot to it, but i could definitely resist dancing to it. sounds like a fairly stereotypical latin american jam, like stock music for a program about Miami or something.

Steve's choice was something in a certain time and place (probably the summer of 2011?), but that time is not October 2014, and the place is not where i sit. i mean it has 759 MILLION views on Youtube now ... it's lost all value, that tends to happen with massive pop hits. they burn up like a supernova or whatever.
(also that LMFAO douche has annoyed me for years on tennis broadcasts)
