Re: 6/18 Slow (PoR) Batman WW Game

Looks like my work/timezone are going to drastically cut my interactions.

I should be able to read stuff in about 4hrs time and then interact for 4hr [if people are on then] then sleep then maybe another hr 2hrs before EOD. still slow game means i can actually do some posts.

trying to skim stuff and work dont mix well.. and dont let me concentrate on what i'm reading to get valid reads.

Wolves people based on length of their posts,

calls out an afk so he can look like he's actually doing something.

Spoiler:

VarianceMinefield

How about you examine my Felix the Cat/Searix exchange where he asks me about why i did that? You seem to go into great detail about how awesomely villagery some people are, and spend almost none on the people you call wolves?

Updated Reads:
Vill lean:
Henrik Sedin - Best effort trying to solve game

Wolf lean:
Fixated - Post padding

Strong wolf lean:
VarianceMinefield - Multiple suspicious accusations; little effort trying to find wolves

Re: 6/18 Slow (PoR) Batman WW Game

my wolf list is based mostly from process of elimination

i think people have been incredibly villagery

henrik has been weird/not that wolfy but he certainly is not the best effort trying to solve the game

id say felix or well named for that

you just repeated your previous post which is wolfy

Re: 6/18 Slow (PoR) Batman WW Game

hi variance. not sure i can interact much as i'm workig on several hot customer issues ...

you are not seeming as wolfy as you normally seem... i guess thats a good sign

as always people appear villigery because they are interacting and quoting people.

i've yet to master the art of taking small things people say and saying 'thats wolfy' or 'that uber villager'. as the days progress i'll have a better feel for who is what or atleast what stands they take.

although people have jumped on bsball, BJ and Larry I have no faith in being able to reliably read anyone day one. if i survive a few days and nights i'll have a better feel.

yeah everyone has trouble making reads day 1

you just have to try. i think this game people have given us a lot to work with

some real good effort so far. a couple people are sticking out already

do you think you will be able to read tanaer?

what did you think about how bsball responded to a newer player calling him a wolf?

to me it seemed a bit much and while the post could potentially not make sense to him like he said

i think he should still be clear headed enough to see hardcore as villagery

how was it to wolf last game? what were the aspects you struggled with the most?

did you think it was easy to fool me? think ull fool me next time u wolf??

Respond to this instead of going off on a tangent?

He had a good post early on that i agreed with and i gave him a slight lean.

Regardless that's him and not me, why you're gunning me i have completely no idea.

i can definitely read Tanaer in RL. but not sure in written form. think so. if she posts...

playing a wolf last game was tough cause i was always second guessing myself. i did make some mistakes so i would have been interested in how the game finished.

i think i had a definite advantage due to my regular village game being so wolfy. not sure if i could have fooled you or the others for long enough, though.

i dont think bsball calling a new player a wolf was particularly wolfy. lots of people call people wolfy on stuff that doesnt seem all that wolfy to me.

yes. this is how it was. i got paranoid. at the start i always see villagers every where..but then as i get a feel for people i can start to workout wolfy patterns... if the wolves suck me in then i see villagers as wolves because i know i'm not a wolf.

For now I am going to allow everyone else to enter and make opening posts, reactions, and will be back later to give my opinions and my reads.

For now I am going to go with bsball who is a strong villa in a setting like this and sponge his vote of:

McAvoy

This is partially because of the reasons bsball wrote, the idea that bsball is a strong villager in this format, and to help generate early game discussion and ideas.

My goal will be to make this game as enjoyable as possible for everyone involved, and for a village win.

i dont disagree with the vote. i just disagree with the comments about this being only to generate discussion. defeats the purpose of the vote.

i usually find that wolves make sense more often than villagers. not making sense is a common issue when [like me] you just write what you think as you think it.

still working on my wolf hunting. i'm still in the 'yeah, that seems villagery, so does that phase' .. need to workout how to spot NON villagers.

I initial thought the jump in vote for bsball. to be real wolfy.
but then you followed up with this. and then that you had looked at other games of his and found what you neede to justify the vote.

i guess this is fine. but i find it funny.

variance. I dont understand your wolf read on Searix and BJ. can you explain?

still at the everyone seems villagery stage.
hardcoreUFO is a villager.
i have some ambiguities to resolve in my gut but
MrGatio, bsBall, Larry, and Tanear would be my wolf picks at the moment.

[Tanear because its strange that she hasnt posted since the initial posts]

A thought occurred to me that Larry knows you're multi-tabling and may assume that you'll focus on your other game, making you an easier lynch here. (The fact that my own biggest wolf leans are also multi-tabling gives me some pause. I do think my reads are mostly based on content, not volume.)

In any case, I'm glad to see you're not howling. Makes me feel better about my Larry lean.
