Edx is a collection of free online courses from various universities. I haven't done coursera, but from what I understand they are similar. In my experience the quality of the edx courses can vary, but the intro to programming course I took was pretty legit. There were modules to complete every week where you wrote the code and then had to submit it to be tested

complete progress is in my log over at H&F. started at 155lb ~15%BF earlier this summer and went on a huge bulk. Now going to be cutting a bit over the next few months then will go on a huge bulk over the summer and cut down to final weight by next xmas hopefully

Well I've completed my cut down to <150lb. BF is probably at my desired 13-15%, so now it's time for a slow cut. Won't get back to 180 probably for at least a year though
