Also TL,

On a separate note, with the influx of new SE players at the moment, I was thinking about running another new/experienced mason game in the coming few weeks, but since I'm also going to be running a mish mash I'll need a comod if anyone fancies helping and not playing.
I can help you with this; I'm a bit tired of playing atm but would love to mod more.

Re: 2012 Werewolf Scheduling Thread

I was planning on having rules like if you vote for a villager who gets lynched the next day you have to make up a new verse for the very sorry song and post in the thread

and on tuesdays you can use the transmogrifier gun to turn the village pterodactyl into spaceman spiff's loyal slave dinosaur

or some ****

probably not vanilla+?

Slow games should obviously be post restricted, since the pool of players who can only play slow games are those with less time, therefore post restriction makes sense. It doesn't have to be a small restriction, just enough to stop d1 having >1000 posts.

Assuming that those who enjoy slow games would also enjoy PoR games, having the two games be non-overlapping would be a plus. Sooooo, if the first vanilla slot in the month was a PoR game, it would mean that those who don't want a PoR game can wait the extra 3 days for the mish mash that I'd assume those who can only play smaller games wouldn't play, and the previous months slow game would be over by the time it runs (this isn't applicable for this month since the jan slow game is actually going to be on the 26th, but hypothetically)

So it would look something like this

February 2012

DateGame TypeModThemeLink!WINNER
February 2Vanilla (PoR)
February 6Mish-Mash Evene/Gabethebabe/XXXHarry Potter 4
February 9Vanilla
February 13Vanilla+
February 16Slow Game (PoR)
February 20Mish-Mash
February 23Vanilla
February 27Vanilla+

There is also the option in incorporating a scheduled Euro Friendly game, if there is enough demand for it. I'm not sure how many Euros are regs atm, but I think there's enough to fill a monthly early EOD game. This could really be any of the vanilla slots.

We could also maybe increase the number of mish mashes per month to 3, and have a mish mash start every 10 days as opposed to 2 weeks if there is a demand for it. I know atm there are a lot of requests for mish mashes compared to the end of 2011, and if they aren't all huge 50+ player ones I don't see why they can't go off that regularly, although it would meant that players would be more likely to multi table.

On a separate note, with the influx of new SE players at the moment, I was thinking about running another new/experienced mason game in the coming few weeks, but since I'm also going to be running a mish mash I'll need a comod if anyone fancies helping and not playing.

This is mostly for the period noted about between the 9th and the 23rd where there is no vanilla. there's nothing wrong with scheduling another game there if there is demand for it.
belongs here
