re: 2012 POG Olympic Games Survivor

Apparently I have surpassed thingy as the other games sheep answer.

Didn't expect that after his deep run in Big Brother.

This game is going to take a long time at 1 elimination per game, boo to all you pessimists predicting 5 medals.

Let me just make sure I have this right. This is essentially like the Amazing race. Doesnt matter where we finish so long as we dont finish last, right?

That's a pretty good analogy. In both games, you don't want to get eliminated (sometimes not getting eliminated is victory enough), but in both games you also compete to win or place well each round up until the final round, which is must-win. Maybe I should start a medal count.

re: 2012 POG Olympic Games Survivor

I really wish I could say that the next event was synchronized swimming, but fortunately or unfortunately . . .

Event 3: Peehs

Objective: the opposite of sheep - score the lowest by picking the answers the fewest people will choose. Your score for each question is the number of people, including you, who pick the same answer. Incorrects will be scored however the 2012 scorer scores them, although there shouldn't be any incorrects, as research is allowed.

PM me your 8 unnumbered answers with no blank lines and no comments - and use "Peehs" as your PM heading.

Deadline: 8 p.m. ET tomorrow. Anyone who submits by then is safe. After that, I will accept entries until I post "no more entries" or start the reveal. Anyone who hasn't submitted by then will be disqualified. The player(s) with the highest score will be eliminated.

Numbers in parentheses indicate total correct answers.

A poker hand category (9)
A chess piece - specify black or white (12)
A color of a wedge in the classic version of Trivial Pursuit (Genus) (6)
A letter worth 1 point in the English edition of Scrabble (10)
A denomination of money in the current U.S. version of Monopoly (7)
A body part/ailment that must be moved/removed in the current version of Operation (13)
A murder weapon in the current US/UK edition of Clue/Cluedo (6)
Pick one of these words that start with "pog": pogies, pogo, pogonia, pogoniasis, pogonion, pogonip, pogonophoran, pogrom, pogy (9)

OPTIONAL VOTE: skip a few lines and tell me how many people (1-5) you want to to be eliminated after the next event (not peehs). I'll take votes into account when deciding.
