Had some follow-up questions ready if that was a yes, but now I can't think of any good question to ask.

How about "is it primarily used inside the house or outside?"

Not a question yet, just spitballing.

Sure, why not?

Is it primarily used indoors?

not rigid, natural material made of 'mostly' fabric (not wood or paper), primarily used indoors, cheaper than $40, not worn and not primarily used for decoration, can fit in a 25cm/10" cube....

...can anyone think of something else other than a washcloth/hand towel/dish towel/towel?

edit: or maybe a hot pad/oven mitt?

Pillow case or bed sheets or something like that? Would they count as decorative? There's probably some sporting equipment it could be, too (volleyball, boxing gloves, etc).

Maybe we should ask if it could be found in most US households. Then if the answer is yes, then we can try to narrow down the room.

Could be some kind of handbag?

pillow case/bed sheet is a great point. their primary use is not decorative.

pretty sure volleyballs and boxing gloves are not made of 'mostly' fabric.

regulation basketball nets are 100% polyester.

it would have to be a specific type of handbag to meet the 'mostly' fabric criteria...leather is out of the running.

perhaps ask if the item is most often found in households?

Why is leather out of the running?

Though I don't think it can be a handbag due to no part of it being metal. Some type of wallet could be possible though.

13. Made of mostly fabric

leather isn't fabric.

Hmm, it is according to wiki, but maybe not according to the strict definition of the term.

OK well that rules out a ton of possibilities.

Xander, can you give a clarification of whether you would class leather as a fabric?

Note: I answered Q17 based upon my own judgement and not based upon any hard facts. I'm pretty sure I'm right though.

Google says technically yes and I would say the same for the purposes of this game.

It's not leather though, you can have that one for free.

So it seems like we're looking for something not super common, but not vajankle level obscurity either.

Something like a handkerchief? Not sure if that's "primarily used indoors" though.
