I hadn't spent much time on IMDb before now. I didn't realize how searchable it is. With very little input, based on the information given, I got a pretty short list containing this movie.

I wouldn't think a school would show a movie with as much cursing as Smokey.

I remember I saw that when it first came out, my grandmother took me and my younger brother at ages 8 and 6. She must not have known. No way our parents would have let us watch that.

Wish that list had years shown.

I'm pretty sure it's possible to get after-release versions that have been overdubbed. Smokey was one, 'cause I laugh when I hear "scum bum" while watching it on TV sometimes. When I saw the movie in question, I think it still contained "son of a *****".

Edit: wow, I've never encountered the censor before.

Yeah, in some movies they dub alternate lines at time of production for future use on broadcast TV and airplanes.
I thought the "scum bum" line was hilarious the first time I saw it on TV also.

The movie is more likely to be in the bottom half of the list since it has a lowish IMDB rating. Maybe could ask if it's in the bottom 30?
