I think Iggy and the Stooges are also associated with CBGB. Were you really confident about Chris, or were you going through the list?

I went through the wiki list of HoF members first to see all the American bands still active, then narrowed it to those with significant lineup changes. Moved down Top Petty and Journey because they weren't exactly half in HoF.

I thought Blondie was more likely than Stooges because wiki listed Stooges as inactive. But also then I got the CBGB's reference and I don't know if the Stooges ever played there; they originally broke up in 1974 and CBGB's only opened in 1973. They were from Michigan and certainly weren't considered a part of the scene like Blondie was.
