Welcome to 1 vs. 100, a revival of Nich's 2009 Game, 1 vs 100 is a popular trivia-based game show where a player competes against a mob to win cash and prizes.

Rules

• A player is chosen as The One by way of a Qualifying round. The rest of the players make up The Mob.
• The purpose of the game is to earn $1,000,000 POG*. Players can earn POG $ as The One or as part of The Mob.
• Each round, I will ask a multiple choice trivia question. I will post the question in the Game Thread and PM it to all players. Every member of the mob and The One will pm me their choice within 24 hours of the question being posed in the Game Thread (not the PM). I will then post The One's answer in the thread, along with the correct answer. Any members of the Mob who get the question wrong are eliminated. For every 5 mob members eliminated, the bank amount goes up until it reaches 1 million. (See Below) The One can stop at any time before a question is asked, taking home all money in the bank.
• If The One answers a question incorrectly, the remaining Mob members split the prize money evenly.
• When a round ends, there will be another qualifying question among those left in the mob to determine the next One. We'll keep playing until someone has earned 1 million.
• There will not be any helps or lifelines like in the shows due to clerical requirements

Submitting answers

When sending in your answer via PM, make the subject line whatever you want as long as I know it's a 1v100 answer. Do not put anything in the body except the multiple choice letter corresponding to your answer. (eg. A, B, C, D) I will be using the sheepulator to tabulate so please try and make my life easier by following this direction. PLEASE do not quote my message in your response. If you use the "reply" button, please delete the quote of the question.

I want to play, but I'm not in the game

If you want to play, post in the signup thread. When the current game is finished, you will either be added to the pool of players, or will replace an inactive player or player who wishes to leave the game.

Other Rules

-No research, No research, No research.
-Resubmissions will not be allowed. Once you submit your answer, it's locked in.
-No out of game communication allowed regarding questions.
-In game communication allowed, but not about questions.
-If a member of the Mob does not answer a question within the 24 hour period, he is removed from the mob.
-If the One does not answer within the 24 hour period, the round is over and the remaining Mob members split the Bank evenly.

This is an optional Qualifying Question. If you choose to answer it, you will become The One for the first round if you get the highest score. If you don't wish to answer it, disregard this PM. If you wish to answer it, read the question carefully and reply to this PM.

Yup. Figured my score would be top 5 but < domer's.

Kicking myself at some of the ones I missed, but don't think I'm ever getting 14 more.

I had 26, obviously with some wrong ones. How is 58 even possible without research?

58 would have actually been less than what I would have set domer's over/under at.

My only hope would have been for someone like legend to come in and play to pressure both of them into a wrong answer.

im pretty good with best picture question, but i didn't even bother. i knew i couldn't beat domer/field

Figured a lot wouldn't try and compete and just try to be one of the few remaining mobsters during the game and then go hard for the Qualifier

i've seen all of the BP winners, even the really horrible ones like gigi and cimarron
