I would personally just check he's going to have missed diamonds also which arnt calling anyway it looks abit thin he's going to have a lot of pairs plus straights draws on this runout which get there on river

I think we can bet small with all hands we want to bet and 99 are pretty much the same as Jx

I expect players that flat in the small blind like this to have a fair bit of Jx, occasional 7x, and then flush draws that aren't calling anything.

You block J9 AJ might 3b pre and a lot of KJ might fold to your turn bet so in theory you have more Jx than he does.

I definitely see the merit in betting like 16-17bb OTR, I doubt people at this stake bluff raise 1p hand often enough for us to have to worry about x/r
