What's up 2+2?! I'm a long time creeper on this site and finally broke down and made an account. The reason I haven't started one sooner is I'm a complete forum noob. I have seen plenty of people get frustrated with people posting on wrong threads, or creating bad threads and what not. So I'm asking for a bit of assistance on how to navigate through the millions of threads to find and/or post new relevant content without getting lost or posting a redundant thread (which I probably just did). Does anyone have any tips, resources that they have picked up along the way?

Read the sticky threads, and for the most part just ignore the dick swinging. Worst that's going to happen is you get a thread closed after some poster moans about it.

Ok cool! Thanks for the advice. I had to look up what a sticky thread is, but i got it lol. It looks much more intimidating than it actually is. Appreciate ya!

Yeah, in each sub-forum there'll be some threads that stay at the top of the page explaining what's appropriate in that forum. This place, for instance, is for 6-max micros strategy, the majority of which is sharing hand histories. For basic concepts there's a Beginner's Questions forum for people that are new to the game. Then there's a Poker Theory forum for analytical and mathematical approaches to the game.
