A suggestion to avoid byes. You can still play as normal until you get an odd number and do round robin from there. For example if you get 20 runners. You play to 10 then 5. From there you do round robin and the top 4 go through.

Players will receive a PM today including escrow instructions and the login data for the homegame. Play will officially start next Monday, and there will be enough time to set up matches in the first two rounds (5-6 days for each round). If you are still in doubt about playing, please make up your mind rather quickly so we'll get an idea of the final number of players soon

This will likely be the case here, and as said above I'm leaving this open to a vote. Personally, I'd like to see regular byes and no refunds for first-round losers to essentially keep it juicy and simple. However, I understand that people don't like byes. Let me know what y'all think.

Sorry to be all this trouble but apparently it could be days before I can PM.
