Despite the bad rep Jason gets, if he really wanted to be a prick he could just demand the bet continue. People getting indignant is utter nonsense, he's doing the correct thing by offering Fity the option to continue or cancel the get (up to him) and should be commended for this approach and not lamented.

And why do you think he is offering the option to cancel? Because he is such an honest dude and nice guy, not because fity is up $1.2K?

+1 but I get the impression if fity didn't have a lead Jmo might not have given the option to cancel. So I wouldn't praise him too much, even though it clearly wouldn't be scummy or immoral to force the bet to continue.

It's a bet not a contract. The considerations each party made are not relevant. Nor the conversation before the final bet. The bet was that the highlighted number must be >$0 for fity to win.. Yeah, not even close.

In that case I suggest you guys try to agree on what happens in the unlikely situation where you lose the bet because of the new rake, but you would have won the bet had the rake stayed unchanged (after calculations).

Haven't really been following this thread, but why don't you guys play the rest out on Full Tilt? The rake is still reasonable on there if I'm not mistaken.

The downside of finishing the challenge on FTP is that you have to play on FTP.

+1 to changing sites, I don't see it written anywhere in the bet with Jmo that the whole challenge has to be on PS, Just that he has to beat PS rake in the challenge..After all Jmo is very concerned that the bet be done exactly as it was worded.
