Don't think he is floating here.

I think he has better hand here... only folding to a turn bet 10% of the time.

Imo given that he calls you on flop with any 5x/6x/any draw and A high, and the J is really not so great for his range, you could conitnue turn but check back is fine too, you got some showdown value, dunno about his river play tho. But if you look on his c/r tendencies, he does it probably with toppair+/ 2nd pair/ draws, so you can't expect him to be strong here based on the fact that he didn't c/r + he flatted pre.
