Not in a million years is it too thin, not at 5nl, I don't think. SB can have some Qx sets they didn't raise flop with and didn't want to raise a dicey turn with, some two pair, A4s. Unless you have reads otherwise, against the general population I think you'd have a leak if you didn't value bet here.

EDIT: I don't play zoom though.

Yeh I think you're almost certainly correct. Perhaps being results oriented through downswing/bad run.

Assume we give him like #15 low FD's (even though most flushes would raise turn obv), we need him to call #15 Qx + a bunch of 4x which is very reasonable

Sizing is good OTT i'd prolly pot the river vs a whale and use a smaller sizing (tho i still think pot is good) vs anyone else possibly exploit check back vs a nit if he never has any 4x here.
