Playing players who c/r or leads if checked to them

I find it hard to play against players who are check raising a lot of flops or if I'm not c betting they are leading 2 streets. What would be the best strategy to play against this?

Seriously use your brain for like a minute before you post again.

WTF people? Beginner asked a simple reasonable question.

OP, cbet less often, if he check-raises alot, or cbet/call lighter or cbet/3bet dry flops for example and see how he reacts to them. Also you can tighten up preflop, there's no shame in it. If you check back flops and he auto-leads into you on the turn and river, then mix in checking back good hands on the flop also or with good potential or start looking him up with Ace high in more favorable spots. It will be a good place to start with your adjustments. Hope that helps somewhat.

P.S. I hope you were talking to deathorglory0.

ok gonna be nice. Whenever you're not sure how to beat something, just start doing it yourself. Either you'll start making more money, or you'll get a firsthand display of how to counter it.

Haha I like that response.

Yeah OP, there's more than one way to skin a cat, many of which have been mentioned already. He's c/r you light on flops which means you need to either call/3bet for value lighter, play tighter pre, cbet less when you miss/don't feel comfortable getting raised on certain boards, etc.

for some reason this reminds me of a mold (bbv) post.

...Sometimes i play against players who employ strategies which i cannot understand or figure out how to counter. I am disappointed but accepting and look for other opponents.

I don't get why people make negative comments to these kind of questions. He had a question, don't respond if you have nothing proactive to say. We all learn from answering/asking questions.

Any way, above answers were pretty solid. If I don't feel comfortable w/ someone's style I A.) tighten up pre and B.) I start employing their style on them. That is a good way to figure out what they may think you will do if you adjust to them. Hence giving you a free look at the adjustment you should be making. The more you can understand why people do what they do the easy they are to exploit.

The main reason is his post implies he's at least to the point where he's facing players who ch/r a lot and lead 2 as bluffs a lot if he checks back. Then his actual question is essentially "my opponent puts a lot of money into the pot and tries to make me fold a lot of hands, what do I do?" Obviously there could be specifics that could lead to interesting discussion but the answer is pretty elementary to anyone playing high enough that anyone ever ch/r bluffs. You don't fold as much, don't put money in with air as much, and print money when you have a good hand.
