How this should continue?

Example:

You have 99's, you bet and opponent calls.

The flop: 542

You bet, opponent calls.

Turn 8

You check... And then what? Let's say that your opponent have Jacks...

You raise preflop. Bet flop, bet turn, bet river. Checking turn is bad, and I think you'd have to have a super nitty overall game to not be able to profitably bet turn and river for value.

I'm assuming you are in position.

The only time I would ever be fearful of this is if my opponent has a 3bet stat almost 0 and we have a fair amount of hands behind us. And I still wouldn't be scared unless I get raised on the turn.

Bet flop, bet turn, bet river. This is a massively +EV spot for valuebetting.
