[NL59] Two Pair faces lead AI on A9833 in 3-bet pot

Hi guys,

im new to Headsup and want to post weird hand i played.

He was opening 99%, 3betting 25%. I was sucking out on him in 300b pot where i flopped two pair w/ T8 and he went broke w/ QQ.

Postflop he is pretty straight forward.
He checked foldet some flops and sometimes he check-called w/ hands like Ax.

I bluffed him a few times and showed a Check-Raise a couple hands ago.
Although he did some goofy overbet turn bluffs, when he was leading or cbetting again.

So how is my line in general?

I'd go $5.50 pre and bet the flop. As played I'm calling river

Pre, flop and turn look fine/standard. You could certainly bet the flop. I probably would more often than not, but checking is good too. Like the turn raise.

River is pretty gross. Kinda don't expect people to bluff like this. He's probably got a boat or something silly that he was tarping us with, then thought "**** better shove river incase he checks" lol. Then again diamonds missed and he could decide to do this with A8 or a random AK/AQ. I'm not folding, but I'm really not happy...

probably veery few 3x combos (only 1x A3s), AA (1 combo), 99 (1 combo), 88 (he might play that way, but unlikely) and then there are none...

i mean, i get your point and I agree, that ppl normally dont bluff here, but maybe he wanted to go for a c/r with AK or clubs on the flop, was giving up and turned diamonds and gives us also some draws, so he thinks, he has FE on river... only god knows, but really... no way i can ever fold here, especially when he might be a bit tilted after losing cpl of buyins

bet flop, dont raise turn, river lol-call

checking flop just loses value. you have 3 streets here as people cbet AT+ close to always. people do check Ax though which does time-call river. if you check flop you often get just 2 streets.

raising turn is fine, I just don't like it too much. A9 is the only hand you really want to raise on the turn, 99 is def a call and 3x bets flop. you can call all FDs. I just dont like opening a raising range there..

I think jamming over a river bet or betting river if checked to also works great

river, he donk jams?? lol. AA A3 33 99. or random busted fd. looks a lot like a donk going for dumb value, but with A9 you gotta call.

i get your point about not opening a raising range on turn, but this is nl50, so i guess this kind of thinking is unnecessary? I would guess raising turn is more +EV at nl50 in the long run

Not sure if you always get 3 streets here, plus isn't it good to have this hand to check back flop call turn/river with? When we check flop we are perceived to usually have medium strenght hands.

    As played I would call
