Hi, I was wondering what is an average win rate and what is a good win rate in this day and age for this stake? bb/100.

I think poker stars win rate is quite good at this stake.

im running at 6bb/100 over a large sample and I don't think there are many people significantly better than me at those stakes. Ofc if some midstakes crushers would sit down they could easily double that, but I'm talking about people who play nl50 as their main game (I mix it with nl100)

I'm at 25bb/100 over a small sample (2500 hands) @ nl50, and 30bb/100 overall at HU Cash over 5000 hands. But I think you need min. 50000 hands before you can make any determination; however, I think 5-10bb/100 is possible long-term.

"Beating microstakes HU ZOOM is priceless. For everything else there is a Mastercard." Official sponsor of Pokerstars. Join the team!

On a serious note, though: the only thing regs @NL50 has learned over last few years is to create larger variance and fish learned how to play less hands. Nothing else has changed. Current PS rake is still a gift, even with lesser amount of recs.

hi, it is currently beaten for 9bb/100 by the best regs from nl50.

so an average winrate might be 3-6bb/100.

purediesel is wrong the nl50 regs mostly have at least some differences from a few years ago and many play very different. The changes in bet sizing strategy is a very noticeable difference for example. imo nl50 regs have gotten quite a bit better, but it is quite hard to tell since a few years ago there was no zoom and many regs just sat there with a big stack waiting for the fish.

^^They just learned how to copy bet-sizings. It doesn't mean that they've got a deeper understanding.

plz name one reg who is winning 9bb/100 over large sample - not that I don't believe you, I'm just curious.

As for the rest of your post, I agree, though (like I said before), there is very few decent regs left on nl50, most moved up or quit.

Yup, nl50 and nl100 have very few decent regs and some nice fish!
I think right now it's even beatable at 15bb/100 -> I'm now at 30.4bb/100 over a 10K sample @50nl (this is not my regular game so it'll take time to get to 100K sample-size, but 10K HU hands is enough to make some guesses).

With new rake it's probably impossible to beat NL50 HU ZOOM for more than 10bb/100.
Years 2010-2013 I've paid around $50,000 in rake for half a million hands. Haven't played for 3 years after that (just randomly few hands here now and then in total around 50k hands). So, converting results, if I'll continue getting another half million hands in HU with this rake system I'll end up paying from $80,000 to $100,000.
