nl50 - turning rivervbet into bluff ?

Hero (BB): $53.25 (106.5 bb)
SB: $50 (100 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q K
SB raises to $1.50, Hero calls $1

Flop: ($3) J T K (2 players)
Hero checks, SB bets $2.14, Hero calls $2.14

Turn: ($7.28) 3 (2 players)
Hero checks, SB checks

River: ($7.28) J (2 players)
Hero bets $4.50, SB raises to $12.50, Hero raises to $49.61 and is all-in / Hero checks / Hero folds

match is early on. no special reads, other than reggish guy...

I didnt have any reads for his ranges, thats why i took the passive line on flop. normally i insta-check/raise here, but early on this time i didnt do it this time

what do you guys think about river? I think, there are arguments for fold/check/shove
*sidenote*
his raise on river came pretty fast, in like 3-4 seconds

I am to tired to even go over this. This is as bad as it gets haha. Why would you turn a good show down hand into a bluff? You guys follow to much isildur stuff. That guy has not profited in 2 years.

check = call obv

if you hold Jx on his part and you face a shove, what are you doing?

I guess you're jamming because you think most of his river raising range is mostly Jx? Do you think he'd ever check back JT/J3 on the turn? Would you ever jam here with a flush? Would you ever c/c the flop with KJ/JT?

i would jam a flush pretty often, yeah. I would guess, he is going to bet his 2 pairs quite a bit on the turn and dont think, he has alot of boats in his range and more air (beat it anyways) and then 'blank' JX combos. (he also cant really have flushes)

then again if I shove flushes on river, i expect him to call with Jx quite a bit, so it could be more of an argument for folding?

do you think, fold > shove > call?

Looks fine. You can have the nuts and he can't. Should definitely be doing this some of the time.

What do you guys think about river-sizing before shoving? is there a difference when i bet 4.50$/shove and 5.50$/shove?

I'd like it more if you bombed the river (or at least made your bet bigger)
