i'd like a call better, because most players give up air on turn.and you can only make him fold air.

do you have a read that he c/raises mid pairs?because normally it's very unlikely that he has a middle pair type hand.even if he did, your flop 3bet is so polarized that it wouldnt be idiotic for him to call your flop 3 bet.

meh, that flopplay is bad. what are you trying to achieve? folding out air? there is only one play on flop and thats calling. raising is bad and folding is also pretty damn bad

    I've gotta agree with this^^^

You said you hoped that he would fold, if he didn't then you have to consider his range of possible shoves ( using info not provided here ) and the determine if your call has enough equity.

I think we should have a plan for the hand prior to the 3bet. However, I think in a vacuum a call would be fine. Although if you had reads that villain raises flops light or is able to fold rather than call after investing so much otf than it could be fine.

But as played we put ourselves in a tough spot obv a call of a 4bet by villain would probably be pretty bad. I like to weigh in flow a lot at these stakes I'm trying to build a roll now on low stakes hu again and I've seen success recently by valuing the flow if the match which only u kno for this hand

Doesn't suck that hard to get 4bet here. Would be pretty clear fold to a 4bet jam needing almost 40% equity, and we can call a very small 4bet if we don't think he's bluffing (which at NL50 he probably isn't). This isn't that bad, because we have 7high, his flop raising range is quite air heavy, and it's gonna be difficult for us to win the pot after calling. Having said that, calling the flop would still be my standard line, but this just isn't as bad as you're all making out. Would be a bit better with some of the gutshots rather than the higher equity OESD, but it doesn't suck all that hard to 3bet/fold this here.

I didn't mean it was a tough decision, I meant seeing the free card against hands he will 4b us with (and we'll have to fold) has a lot of value and 3-betting robs us of that value.
