Quite the opposite, c/mr from losing players is usually very strong. His range most likely consists of all 2 pairs, 77 and maybe jk. I would fold here and check back more flops like this with middlepair.

check back flop, as played i think fold is best cauz i dont see this line without aggression on turn and since we have to fold to aggression on turn, its prolly better to fold now... mistake is to bet that flop
