NL400 - AKs vs LAG NL400 - AKs vs LAG

Effective stack sizes: ~$314. I have $314, he has me way covered.

Playing heads up against a LAG-style player. He's not afraid to raise large or go all-in on bluffs, and value bet quite thinly (but usually not all-in). I recently lost a few buyins to him; he has reason to believe I am tilting. I probably am

I'm on the button. He min-raises out of position to $8.

I'm sitting with AK and make it $32 to go ($24 to call). I do this because he calls with about 50% of his range to my raises.

Flop comes 5AA

I make a half pot bet. $32. It is my usual continuation bet size, because he loves to check-raise on flops and turns. If I increase my continuation bet size, my range would have to weight more towards a stronger range.

He calls. He calls about 1/2 of the time to my flop bets.

Turn is a 8. Board is now 5AA8

He checks to me.

I bet $64. He raises to by $136 more, making it $200. I have $189 left.

My move here?

yes it is. it is me against one villain the entire session.

I think he had about $1100 if I had to give my opponent a stack, but it isn't really relevant as I only had $314.

Does the BB act first at these tables (reverse blinds HU)? Or did you just forget to say that you limped? If you're going to manually recount a hand, it helps not to leave things like this out.

Anyway, call the turn.

It is reverse blinds HU at these tables. SB acts first out of position, BB in position. He raised as SB, I re-raised as BB.

I think Bovada has this when there aren't enough players at a 6-max table (?)
