NL200 3b pot: shove or check back draw?

Party, $1/$2 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 2 Players
    Hero (SB): $201 (100.5 bb)
    BB: $227.50 (113.8 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 5 6
Hero raises to $4, BB raises to $12, Hero calls $8

    Flop: ($24) 9 7 Q (2 players)
BB bets $17.25, Hero raises to $60, BB calls $42.75

    Turn: ($144) Q (2 players)
BB checks, Hero has $129 behind...

We're trying to start a table/1-tabling. Villain seems like a bad reg. He's made incredibly terrible plays vs me in the past, mostly revolving around preflop, but I think those were mainly due to him being monkey tilted for a few sessions.

Lately, he seems normal. I get the impression he'll fight for 3bet pots w/o much of a hand/is aggro (or maybe he's just running good, dunno 'cause I haven't seen important showdowns).

My initial reaction on the turn was that he's obv not folding any made hands that called the flop (so check).

In retrospect, he may be foolish enough to call the raise with a number of draws instead of shove them - keep in mind he's not a HU reg. Additionally, wouldn't his Qx+'s get in flop a majority of the time? It's not like we have a bunch of history of me raising flop and barreling off my stack.

I don't think he has to have a made hand, I have no SD value, probably better to be betting most of my range here...I think I should put money in on the turn?

You have a decent hand to float flop with, although raising some % of the time is fine obv. I think you should raise a little smaller otf, his range is gonna be somewhat inelastic here, and you leave yourself more room to get him off some hands on later streets. Turn is one of the worst cards to barrel w/, so id check back to capitalize my equity, esp early in the match and when dynamics dont dictate otherwise.

Check. He has lots of hands to call all-in, and you have lots of cards to hit on river.

I think your flop raise-size is good, but im not totally sure.

no reason to bet, your fold equity just tanked. If you check back and bet river you will get folds from any(?) hand that would fold the turn to a bet, and you could get shoved off of your hand on the turn, which is pretty disastrous. He often has a queen and you are throwing away a very large percent of the pot by betting and folding.

I agree with the flop raise size being too big as well, no reason to make it that large.
