Trying to see how many people will be up for this,

Idea is just like the superstar showdown challenge, we get 8 players who will battle it out.

Group based elimination matches just like the SS.

For me to take part it would need to be at 50NL(obv if majority of people want to play higher ill happily step back).

First to $250 advances into the next round. If undecided after 1K hands of play then the leader advances. As many or few tables as the players agree on.

$50 to be escrowed from each player to pay out to the eventual winner.

Open to suggestions,

I understand rake is going to be a big factor on the results, but id be doing this as a way of improving so not too worried about the results.

Of course if we get something sorted im sure two players can agree to play money and escrow.

Anyone else interested? so far only myself and EM have shown interest

good to see this is going somewhere,

Im not too sure how keen I am playing play monies or NL2, as I think ill be overly spewy, even if Im aware that its still essentially 50NL, but I guess If everyone/my opponent is in favour of it ill agree.

What are the annoyances with play money? I'd rather do play money for sure to avoid the ******ed rake at 50NL.

well, I'm too computer illiterate to get an AHK script working in order to import play money hhs. you need to be in multiple clubs to multi table (rite?). you have a shorter time to act. shorter time bank (rite?). importing play money hhs gonna mess up my report tab.

yes of course, we only pay an effective rake of ~.7bb/100 at nl2.

I sent a email to one of my friends, who isnt on here too much but I think he has an account, hes also a reg on stars. So he could potentially fill a spot,

If so that leaves one spot.

If we can get these spots filled Ill do the draw(if noone is against that), and then we can find an escrow/decide on what format to use.

Stars have started raking playmoney tables btw. 5% uncapped, so it´s very hard to play there.

yh thats pretty annoying, but it shouldnt matter for a knockout format like this ~ how about this for a structure, unlimited chips since its play money ( i have millions i can ship to anyone who needs em) first person to either win X bb's (have to decide the number of buyins people agree on to win, but something like 6-8 buyins seems fair, maybe more if we play deep tables) or winner after 1.5K hands gets through to next round? say we all escrow 2 buyins of $50, thats 8 x $100 = $800 so winner gets $500 or whatever and runner up gets the rest, obv could escrow more, also am pretty computer savvy so can help with AHK if needs be

As far as the format goes, my choice would be to each escrow $50, this will be given to the winner. Matches will be played to one person wins 5BI's, this means the option of stakes remains open to the players(whether it be 50 or 100NL+).

If the match reaches 1k hands without a winner, then the leader advances to the next round.

Once/if the spot fills does everyone agree that I can do the draw?
