ya i would say call - but is he ever raising with worse a straight or flush? - does 9 with a K of spades raise this? Maybe....

I would say it's a pure bluff or maybe 8 of spades or a flush / straight

So I'm assuming you called?

With two straights possible I would probably check this 100% in game. You gotta call though. Fish don't know how to moderate bluffing ranges on one card oesd boards much less ocfd+ocoesd. If he's bluff raising at all he's bluffing 35% of his range.

This is a pretty ambitious assumption to make after 6 hands, no?

yes I did call and turn brought a 2 and I checked and he bet $11 - He actually didn't start with 100bb it was more like 80bb since I was up $10 on him and he didn't reload so i'm not happy with the 3bet in general

I think checking would be very good. This board hits a lot of hands and I think it's hard to get the $$$ in extremely good.

You play on Bovada, right? It's pretty common for good regs to start anonymous matches limping the button to intentionally make people think they are a fish. I literally always do this no matter if I'm open sitting or sitting others. There is no reason to ever make an assumption about how good or bad someone is after 6 hands. It will only cause you to make big mistakes.

well he insta quit after the hand and didn't rebuy so he probably was not a good player.

Also the hands he went to show down with were not standard

depends who you are playing against. But I would say you are right 90% of the time.

Any ways - I ended up calling the flop

He bet $11 on a safe turn and I just shipped. He ended up have k4 which I don't really like his call pre - but it worked out for him.

I'm not too upset with how I played the hand but was frustrated because he insta quit after words and I think if I just played really safe I could of stacked him.
