There's not too much I wouldn't do for a meelllion dollars. Now that you have over that, what things wouldn't you be willing to do anymore? Would you still do them for 100 meellion?

Some point in the near future I'd like to move from 6 max to hu plo/nl.

What are the main things I should be looking to incorporate into my game. Is there any specific cr vids you would recommend?

Thank you

Hey there ! thx for doing this =0 )
What is you standard 3 bet range vs an unknown? If your using a polarized range vs a certain opponent, what hands do you use to balance your premium hands? What hands do you prefer to 4bet bluff with? IF someone 3 bets you 20% and folds 60% to 4 bets, what hands would you 4bet bluff with and how would you decide to flat his 3 bet with a strong hand?
IF you cant answer all that, I understand. Thanks again!

Can you remember some aha moments you had when you moved up to $2/$4?

Can you describe your poker setup and playing routines?

What kind off hourly did you make when playing $2/$4 no limit?

At the beginning I would like to say hello as it is my first post. [ Sry for all mistakes - I still improve my english (: ]

You mentioned before that it good time to start learning HU PLO.

Do you think that it is possible to gain bigger edge over the player by playing HU PLO or the edge is comparable to the HU NLH?[maybe lower?]

How many hands do you have to play in HU PLO to claim that you are a good, winning player?

Any other interesting comments regarding HU PLO?

Thank you for all the answers.

Do you play anyone who sits at your table? If no what is the deciding factor for you to refuse action?

When you were moving up - were you playing anyone? Or using some table selection and played bad regs?

1 Theory question...

Lets say you opening 85% on the button and villain starts to 3bet you around 25% he is pretty decent player post flop.

Do you drop down your opening range?

Start mini raising?

What range do you start defending?

Here is the part which is confusing. Some good players advising to fold pretty a lot of hands while others saying we are getting 2-1 so vs 25% 3bettor we have position so we should be calling a lot of hands because we are getting 2-1.

Thank you

Congrats on your success. How much time do you spend playing:reviewing? Did you ever have any problems with tilting your monies away? If so, how did you remedy the problem?

Were you able to leave most of your winnings online in order to move up quickly? Or did you have to frequently cash out?

I'm asking because I feel like one of the main reasons why I'm still playing .50/1 (with some 1/2) is because I've had to use my winnings for my everyday living ever since I've been playing. Therefore I can't afford to take many big shots because I need that money.

Also, props for being at college park. My hometown is 10-15 minutes away (Silver Spring).

thanks for doing the well....you are an inspiration

1) how many hands did u play in the last two years since your were playing NL50?

2) what was your biggest downswing in terms of BI´s?

3) what is your rate study/playing?

A high boards are not always dry, the other cards matter a lot. If guy is being a pain in 3bet pots, 3bet less bull**** and more Kj/AJ/AT stuff. If he barrels a lot when checked to betting with underpairs might be better and is USUALLY my std. I'm probably going to make a leakfinder series soon, although I'm pretty busy atm (finals are coming up in addition to other stuff).

I havent been paying that much attention to how much ive won monthly lately for whatever reason, but I would guess biggest winning month is somewhere between 400-700 k. In 2 years I'd like to have 10 mil or something crazy, be playing live tournies/cash games more and be more well known outside the online world

How do you organize your sessions during the day (schedule, number of games...)?

Do you work at a desk/in your bed/in a jacuzzi?

Do you multitable?

Do you use a HUD or other software/Sharkscope?

Your views on tilt/variance : how often do you play your A/B game? how often is your play breakeven/losing?

How much time do you spend on reviewing your play/improving your game?

What cashout system do you use?

What improvements have you made on your grinding routine that have been the most effective? What change do you plan to implement on your grinding routine in the future?

What are your distractions during a game? (music, browsing, chatting, roommates, series, eating, etc.)

What is your approach on note-taking? Can you share a typical note you have on an opponent?

What is your position on playing regs? Do you avoid many players? Do you strike agreements with regs to avoid sitting each other?

What other forms of poker do you play live/online (and what % of your poker playing time)?
In 2 years, will you still be a HUSNG grinder? How you plan to evolve as a poker player?
I kind of play whenever I want to, for as long as I want to. I don't have a specific schedule but I try to play during peak hours (late afternoon eastern US time).

I work at desk using my desktop comp nowadays mostly, I used to use my laptop a lot in the past though.

Ofc I multitable and I use HUD most of the time, not much else. I've sometimes used pokerstove and occasionally used stoxev to run simulations.

I tilt sometimes, obviously ideally I wouldn't ever but poker is a conniving whore :@ . I usually play my A/B game and even under tilt I generally play well but under special circumstances I play particularly bad...

I don't spend THAT much time reviewing my game, but I spend a lot of time doing other things related such as watching videos, talking/thinking strategy, etc. Also, I believe that subconsciously I've put in more effort than; poker was/is something that I have been extremely interested in.

I use whichever cash system is most convenient, probably bank wire.

I'd like to change my grinding routine such that I'm quitting more often when I'm losing and not quitting when I'm winning. Also, I'd like to be going to bed before 4 am consistently (sleeping schedule ****s with school stuff and other things).

If I'm playing few tables I might listen to music, browse or whatever while I'm playing. Otherwise, I want no distractions. It can piss me off when ppl make lots of unnecessary noise/bother me while I'm playing say, 6 tables vs durrr.

I often take lots of shorthand notes about player's tendencies/ranges and whatever, particularly on players I haven't played much with before. They're usually not very organized.

I obv favor playing other regs, because it's good for the games and is more fun than waiting for fish all day. I don't avoid many players except a couple exceptions; during downswings I tighten game selection more.

I play plo, tournies, and ring games sometimes. I played in PCA this year, and in the future will probably continue to play online but also expand by playing more live games.

It probably depends on the extent of an edge I have an edge/lack of edge vs the other guy--If the other guy is making lots of mistakes, then it might be almost immediately. If I can't figure out what the other guy is doing wrong, then it could take a long time or he may even have small edge. If I'm getting raped, I might guess that he has an edge.

It's more likely that I have an edge vs isildur or durrr than ZJ just based on the fact that ZJ is up a ton of bis of me overall, esp in comparison to the other two. Both isildur and durrr have changed how they've played vs me, and I think that at different points in time i've had edges on them and vice versa.

1. no, but I knew him when I first played live, which was before I played online at all

2. we both grinded our way from the very bottom, ie 5$ sngs

3. both, neither of us game selected much

4. for low stakes I had 20-30 bis before moving up, mid to high 40-50

Best advice for someone on a big downswing? I assume game select a little more?

What's the best way to honestly assess your own play besides how much you won or lost?
