JUNGLEMAN WELL

A stranger is being shown around a village that he has just become part of. He is shown a well and his guide says "On any day except Saturday, you can shout any question down that well and you'll be told the answer."

The man seems pretty impressed, and so he shouts down: Why not on Saturday? and the voice from in the well shouts back: Because on Saturday, it’s your day in the well.

Please post your questions for Jungleman below.

is it worth even trying to learn hu cash from like 100nl at this point? or is it too dried up to be worth it and should people focus on hu plo and ring games?

Re: JUNGLEMAN WELL

What kind of winrate would you expect to have when 4 tabling a 5BB/100 hands 200-400nl heads up regular (assume he isn't a complete bumhunter or someone who only 4 tables other good regs so kind of a pretty good/good but not great mid stakes heads up player)?

Random couple thoughts on donk betting? (sorry if this is too vague)

Best 4 heads up players youve played (any thoughts on unique things they do?)

Thanks a lot for doing this.

Re: JUNGLEMAN WELL

Here are my notes on you from when we played a while back.

"3tabled. he complained every time i won a pot.
calls down light when you lead into him
plays straightforward in rr pots."

400 hand session was obv enough for me to know that you play straight forward in 3bet pots. Just thought i'd share

Re: JUNGLEMAN WELL

obv this was to husng players so just change husng to hu cash were necessary

thanks 4 doin this jungleman

credit to pelinca for this:

How do you organize your sessions during the day (schedule, number of games...)?

Do you work at a desk/in your bed/in a jacuzzi?

Do you multitable?

Do you use a HUD or other software/Sharkscope?

Your views on tilt/variance : how often do you play your A/B game? how often is your play breakeven/losing?

How much time do you spend on reviewing your play/improving your game?

What cashout system do you use?

What improvements have you made on your grinding routine that have been the most effective? What change do you plan to implement on your grinding routine in the future?

What are your distractions during a game? (music, browsing, chatting, roommates, series, eating, etc.)

What is your approach on note-taking? Can you share a typical note you have on an opponent?

What is your position on playing regs? Do you avoid many players? Do you strike agreements with regs to avoid sitting each other?

What other forms of poker do you play live/online (and what % of your poker playing time)?
In 2 years, will you still be a HUSNG grinder? How you plan to evolve as a poker player?

Re: JUNGLEMAN WELL

How long does it take you to realize your profitability in a HU match?

Example - I assume you think you have an edge on ZJ and isildur (and maybe durrr?). Did you notice something in the first couple hours of a match that solidified your belief that you had an advantage?

Re: JUNGLEMAN WELL

1. Were you friends with urnotindanger2 pre poker?
2. If so did you both just start NL50 HU and then just ball your way to the top?
3. Did you play a lot of fish on the way through the stakes or did you mostly sit regs?
4. Could you describe your bankroll management as you moved up through the various limits?
