Hi, am have wondering how my preflop betsize mostly in IP but also oop, should be with 15bb, 20bb, 30bb, 50bb and 75bb.

At the moment IP have make it 2bb with 15-25bb, and to 2,5bb with 25-40bb. And over 40 bb i make it to 3bb. But am not sure that the right amount, and do you change your betsize if the OP is TAG, TP, LAG or LP?

your sizes look good as standard; vs braindead opponents you can just change them according to your handstrength (some people defend close to 100% irregardless of (stack)sizes); vs some opponents you should limp a decent amount, etc etc but standard is minimum 2bb's and max 3bb's as a standard, and you can have a "rule" max 10% of effective stacksizes (which is pretty much what you do so it looks good)

against whom and with what stacks and hands should u limp a decent amount?

villains who 3bet a ton are good opponents to start limping; if they attack your limps a lot you can limp stronger hands as well and you will basically let them hang themselves pretty quickly

Why do you think limping a lot is the best adjustment to villain who is getting out of line w/ the 3bets? Specifics depend on stacks, but I prefer to just tighten up a bit from the button and widen my defending and 4bet value shoving ranges a lot. I think this is preferable to limping since the 4bets tend to be very successful and, when we defend, we're playing inflated pots against a weak range. Given that we're in position, we should be able to win that game as well.

Because you want to play as many hands as possible for as cheap as possible.

If the guy is 3-betting every hand or something, tightening up is usually the best route, but if you start minraising or limping most of your range you usually can exploit aggressive 3-bettors well. The downside to tightening up your range is that the guys that 3-bet a lot (but not always) also call a ton OOP with weak hands, so giving up a lot of buttons is helping them compared to seeing flops cheap in position and letting them play over aggressive OOP.

The tougher ones are the guys that readjust fast, but not many do.

You see patterns with most of these players, if they are very aggro preflop they are usually very aggro postflop. It's like the passive button limpers. They are usually weak and passive postflop as well, which is really their major leak. A lot of guys think the limpers suck bc they play so passively preflop, but it's really a postflop leak with most of them. I think guys like Cog are proving my point so it's not as widespread of a misconception as it used to be.
