haha ur PTR stats on stars show really what variance is about: Even if there would be 1BB/100 difference between 600 and 1k becus of the tougher opponents the difference between ur winrates is so ridicilous +15/100 and -5/100 I mean wtf.... Variance is soo sik and almost everybody is underestimating it for sure

I think the solution its limit each player to open 4 tables max and if a player stay sitting out for more then 10 min. kick him of the table

Hey folks, didn't think this warranted its own thread but any help on it would be much appreciated. I'm from the UK and am planning to branch out my roll so I can play heads up on sites other than Full Tilt where I'm playing just now. Does anyone have experience with sites like Betfair, Pacific, Ladbrokes/microgaming, Bwin/ongame, Betfred/Ipoker in terms of how much action there is heads up from 200nl to 1knl? Also information on the software and getting money on/off would be great. Cheers, hope someone with experience of this can help me out, Tony.

i hope you mean 4 empty tables of hu, not in the same limit. 4 of the same limit would still look terrible. they should make it 1 open table/limit and that be the end of it. plus the kicked if sitting out more than x time

omg omg omg right ok this is perhaps one of the most useful posts that ill put in the near future.

ok so i was looking at all the new years aims for 2010 and one of the onces that stayed in my mind was some guy who put stop looking at his cashier as its a bad habit and can tilt him and i thought "yeah i do that somtimes and its bad yeah.

the next part of the my brillaint discovery came moments later as i thought hey wouldnt it be great if ft got some kind of software installed that ment you could only see your cashier at the start and at the end of a session that way you wouldnt tilt as much and maybe youd play longer as you wouldnt get so annoyed at going down 4-6 buyins

ok youve read this far and i know what your thinking ive just spend the last 30 seconds of my ohh so precious life reading this post and so far im yet to be impressed.

ok you ve been patent and for that you shall be rewarded the secret to not checking the cashier while in the middle of a session is simple

step 1) look at the cashier
step 2) left click on the top of the cashier and hold down finger.
step 3) drag the cashier to the bottom right of the screen so that you cant see it apart from a really small bit poking out so that you can drag it up.

and voila you wont be able to spazz check the cashier because when you go to check it after losing a big pot it wont pop up and you ll just see the a little flash at the bottom of the screen.

Ok guys time to get back on the grind. In December I played all of 3k hands and won 55 cents! Had my worst full year ever. I think my first 12 months of poker I made more then I did in 2009. I hope to make 2010 my best year. Need to stop being such a drunken degen and actually get my grind on.

except that its 3 times easier to check your HEM table manager to see how much u are up or down than to use the cashier in the software..

that is exactly what happened to me. Took WAAAAY too much time off.
