True, plus forced action will enforce greater game selection by people who have trouble quitting a better player (eg do you want to pay the rake for another 200 hands or quit now?).
I like the freedom to play bums when I'm running bad and try and enjoy a decent match when I'm up a bunch and don't care about dropping 4 buyins, being forced to play someone equal or better than me when I'm running bad will really put me off playing.

Re: *******HU CASH Regs thread*******
I like to play regs when I'm on tilt probably not a good idea,
Might be looking to trade 5k FTP for stars, I'll send first to someone reputable..

I haven't played in a week, but Absolute/UB switched the autopost thing back to normal, right?

yes.
re the whole bad reg vs bums thing... what's the argument here? is it just semantic?
are we trying to say that bumhunting = only playing complete loose-change 70bb droolers and not bad regs? or is bumhunting only playing people worse than you? i don't understand the discussion.
also yeah bad regs can be pretty awesome. slightly higher variance and lower winrates against them but they'll always be there. it always mystifies me when a really terrible reg will give infinite action even though they're being slaughtered.

Still lots of fish for everyone
Full Tilt - $4 NL (2 max) - Holdem - 2 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3
Hero (SB): $460.60
BB: $347.50
Hero posts SB $2.00, BB posts BB $4.00
Pre Flop: ($6.00) Hero has 9 J
Hero raises to $12.00, BB calls $8.00
Flop: ($24.00, 2 players) 2 T Q
BB bets $12.00, Hero raises to $38.00, BB raises to $64.00, Hero calls $26.00
Turn: ($152.00, 2 players) 5
BB bets $28.00, Hero calls $28.00
River: ($208.00, 2 players) K
BB bets $208.00, Hero calls $208.00
BB shows 8 6 (Flush, King High) (PreFlop 34%, Flop 11%, Turn 5%)
Hero shows 9 J (Flush, King High) (PreFlop 66%, Flop 89%, Turn 95%)
Hero wins $623.50

Think the debate centered around the fact a ton of midstake players are refusing to play each other, and are just waiting for anyone who isn't from above to sit down with them.
Think bum hunting is an elastic term and can be applied to anyone who consistently refuses action.
