i mean everything is possible, but it seems like a long shot that a guy who is capable of getting a HUNL and a HUPLO bot working and running on stars didn't have to foresight to randomize the bot's timing

don't get obsessed with bots, some people are just degens who play superfast and are bad. Also, like samooth said, obvious first step for bot would be randomizing timing. Also, for the most part, we are concerned with humans with real time assistance, not actual bots.

Ok, this is getting ridiculous!
PS software turned in complete $h!t!
First, logs of 1 terabytes clogging up hard disc, second hands replayer gets broken.
Now, HANDS PLAYED MISSING!!! Opening replayer - its not opening this hand (and randomly some hands prior to this also), going to TOOLS-Hand History - it's not there either. Looking into HM - same thing.
LOL WTF STARS?????????

If you vary your sizings, filter for how .5P performs generally on the river, in terms of bet success rate. Then look at how P performs, given the same metric. Now 1.5P. If you have a statistically significant sample, do the rates of return vary?

Idk what he is, what I do know is he logs in ever day and then just starts to sit every table until he finds a game (which I think he rarely does as I have him on my tables about 20 times a day and I rarely sit A-tables).

So imagine playing 2 hand matches all day long for about 2 years, 12 hours per day. Haha it's so sad I laugh every time he sits.

He never spoke to me and his actions seem perfectly randomized so it feels kinda botty, as I can't imagine there being an actual person that sits behind his pc 12 hours/day to play 1/100 of the people he sits.

played a decent amount against him when I used to play 2 4 on party, very much doubt he's a bot. don't know why it's sad that this guy tries to actually play some hands of poker instead of just bumhunting all day which is my definition of sadness.

Well lets say there'd be a guy at your front door 12 times a day, trying to sell you a game boy each time. Wouldn't you feel sad for the guy after a week?

On a side note - has this KOTH format been suggested before?

1) Make it so at each stake 4 tables appear initially
2) If all 4 tables have 2 people sitting and playing, one more table pops up in the lobby, and so on as tables fill up
3) No player can sit at more than 4 tables in any stake.
4) Once tables that have two players falls to below 4 all tables, additional tables with only 1 player sitting are removed (newer tables are removed first- allowing the longest sitting player to keep the table).

I think this would give a fair KOTH style format, and maximize your rake plus allow people to play and not have to wait for hours.

If those are the requirements, zoom is likely better.

Dude why you got to be such a DICK?!

I'm not saying maximize rake (rate), just saying that the site can generate more rake because more tables will be in action more often under existing rake rates.

I am sorry if you find me a dick, not quite sure why you have that feeling, though. Don't think I was being rude?

Under your KOTH format (if I understood correctly), the rec sits a one of the 4 tables. He then battles said open-sitting reg until he quits. No reg-on-reg battling occured during said match. In a zoom pool, regs would likely battle regs upwards of 90% depending on entries.

FWIW, I would personally prefer a non-zoom environment

JK about the DICK part

Of course that will happen in some scenarios, but there are many other scenarios that could result in more people playing than just the "king" of the 4 tables at a stake. My perspective comes from playing on WPN where there are 4 max tables at each limit, and that IMO really stifles action/interest/growth of HUNL.

I've never played Zoom HUNL and it sounds pretty dumb to me, and would imagine it forces pretty robotic play. People and especially fish like me like building a history and developing reads / strat vs. one opponent then spewing off 10 stacks based on false reads and bad strategy. Although I would play Zoom if that's the only option probably.

Main reason WPN has some hu action is because the rake is only 50 cents with 27% flat rb so 36,5 cents effectively.

Is it a common and known problem with hand histories missing completely from txt files and Instant HH Viewer on HU Zoom? I was missing 53 hands from about 950 yesterday.

I can't say. I haven't exactly acted very nice in the micro stakes HUNL streets. But I'm playing pretty much every day usually $10 and $25 : /
