I heard stars rakes the **** outta the play money now as a defense against people playing for money rake free there.

I am going to pay my friends rake. sounds like using stars would be annoying.

Just play on WPN. You may or may not have to battle for a table, there is only 4 per stake.

Me33erFi3ch sucks at HU, so that explains why he's doing this!

Do you have any proof/theories as to why you think Saauron1 is a bot?

They all play different but share bot like tendicies and timing stuff, talking with other regs they all seem to agree too. But yeah nothing solid to send stars or anything.

I wrote it somewhere already, but I played a ****ton of hands vs rec313 in zoom (over 10k now) and he eventually started making some adjustments against me, so it's either a bot with learning heuristics or (my theory) a decent-ish human with a fast solver running in real time on other machine. Though one would think that if he had a solver he would be way better than he is, he has some serious and pretty obvious leaks.

e: athough his timings are extremely suspicious, they are clearly randomized regardless of how hard his decision is (including calling shoves with nuts), even if he's only playing one table

Most likely seems to be a human with some form of solver next to him.

There is an allowed software that randomizes your timings (TimeMojo).

k then, I guess theory with human with solver makes most sense. Btw many regs reported him to stars and they did nothing, this kind of thing is clearly super hard to prove (unless you request cam video of gameplay, but they only did it with hs regs)

I haven't played hu for ages but I seem to remember rec being laughably bad, like borderline-fish bad. Does he actually win? I always assumed not.

Played both of them recently and with sauron92 a few days ago despite being warned, i guess after the humans vs bot challenge i was excited to play one... I have a big history with rec313. Agree with both being a bot, and honestly i thought rec313 was a fish before. But having him played him a while back + gaining some more knowledge how bots play i think hes pretty good (now). Over a pretty large sample, hes winning but no doubt i have been running and playing very bad vs him so maybe thats that? He has adapted vs me aswell though. Cant check it up, lost all my data.

Similarities i noticed with Sauron92/Rec313: both using a strat that seems hard for humans to balance (donking SRP low boards etc), using very different betsizes in like all situations, and Sauron92 atleast seems to balance it very very good in my 1k-1.5k hands played vs him. The timing tell indeed, 'thinking' when calling with the nuts. Never responding in chat. The not auto rebuy, i would think it favors bots since most HU players got to used to 100bb+ play (myself included). Both online alot. I am not saying Rec313 = Sauron92, but i think its very possible both being a bot.

The #1 thing I miss most about playing poker is slowrolling Rec

Eric, its saauron1, not 92

The whole not rebuying thing is likely because he likes shortstacked play. He used (almost exclusicely) reg battle CAP and was beating a decent portion of the line ups. Evidently also a lot easier to program

What stakes? Below 2/4 hu regs playing eachother for the sake of just playing just equals rake. People worked that out by now. If you want to play 5/10 and up, I'd suggest acr. I'm sure cumicon would love to play you for a mirrion hands.

I was getting confused there. It's saauron1 we're talking about right?

I don't really understand the accusations with regards to rec313. The only thing that is a bit weird is that he never responds in chat, but that's it for me. I do believe him to be winning, since the 200 and especially the 100 zoom pools are often still pretty weak.
